How Krishna guides you here
The same way he guided Arjuna on the field of Kurukshetra: first he listened.
He listens first
Speak or type. If your words are brief, Krishna reflects what he heard and asks one gentle question before he teaches.
One verse, chosen for you
Your words are matched against all 701 verses. The Sanskrit and transliteration come from the Gītā itself. The English, Hindi and Telugu meanings are translations; the Hindi and Telugu were prepared with AI and reviewed against the Sanskrit.

Questions, answered
What people ask before they begin.
What is Gitopadesh?
Gitopadesh is a free, voice-first guide where you tell Krishna your problem and receive counsel drawn from the Bhagavad Gita. He first listens and may ask one question, then offers a verse and practical guidance, in English, Hindi or Telugu.
Is the Krishna who answers real?
The replies are generated by an AI that speaks in Krishna's voice and is grounded in the Bhagavad Gita. The Sanskrit verses, transliterations and meanings shown come from the Gita itself. It is a reflective guide, not a substitute for a teacher, doctor or therapist.
Is Gitopadesh free and private?
Yes, it is free and needs no sign-up. Your conversation history is kept only in your own browser and you can delete it any time from History. To reply, your words are sent to Amazon Bedrock, and each sentence Krishna speaks is sent to Microsoft's speech service. Gitopadesh itself does not store them. The visitor counters use only a random anonymous ID kept in your browser.
How does Krishna choose a verse for me?
Your words are matched against all 701 verses of the Bhagavad Gita by meaning and theme, such as fear, anger, grief, duty and the restless mind. The best matches are given to Krishna, who picks the one that answers your situation.
What does the Bhagavad Gita say about worry over results?
Chapter 2, verse 47 teaches that you have a right to your action but not to its fruits. Give full effort to the work in front of you and release attachment to the outcome. This is the heart of nishkama karma, selfless action.
What does the Bhagavad Gita say about anger?
Chapter 2, verses 62 and 63 trace how dwelling on sense objects breeds attachment, then desire, anger, delusion, loss of memory and the ruin of discernment. The remedy it gives is steadiness of mind and mastery of the senses.
Are the Hindi and Telugu translations reliable?
The Sanskrit verses come from the Gita itself. The English, Hindi and Telugu meanings are translations. The Hindi and Telugu were prepared with AI from the Sanskrit and standard commentaries and checked against the Sanskrit by an automated review. For serious study, please confirm with a teacher or a printed edition.
Which languages and devices does it support?
English, Hindi (हिंदी) and Telugu (తెలుగు); the shlokas stay in Sanskrit. Voice input works best in Chrome or Edge on desktop and Android, and the site works on phones.
All eighteen chapters
Read every verse with its meaning.
